Hello and welcome to the Volunteers page
Medway Adult Education appreciates the dedication, work and commitment that our volunteers offer us and the community. On this page you can find out about courses we offer to our volunteers, connect with other like minded people and find out what is happening.
We offer a range volunteering opportunities, including providing learning support in the classroom, admin experience and marketing. So if you are looking to get some work experience, develop your skills, or use some you already have please get in touch with Candice Fanning, Learner Services Co-ordinator on 01634 338475 or Candice.fanning@medway.gov.uk

To ensure a standardised recruitment, interview and induction process for Medway Adult Education please see the Volunteering Policy.

Have you thought about volunteering?
Up to 10,000 local volunteers share their skills
and gain teaching and communication skills.
More are always needed. Additionally many
people with barriers such as visual impairment
or learning difficulties welcome support in
reading for pleasure.
Who can get involved?
Anyone with good levels of reading and
counting can get involved. A regular time
commitment is needed because consistency
is important to our learners, so you will need
to commit to a regular volunteering slot.
